A Little Bit About Us
We have been involved in the Southern California Modeling community for over 40+ year and have bought and sold at over 100+ modeling events. In our travels, we have seen a gap that needed to be filled in our local hobby community. With this in mind, we decided to restart our show and schedule it twice yearly to bridge the gap in scheduling and make sure that there is always a local hobby show coming soon to the public.
In the early years we were involved in the original incarnation of the Kit Collectors International show. In the early 2000’s we moved on with our own independent, family-run hobby event which we named : Rolls, Floats, and Flys. It ran for 7 consecutive years until an untimely death in the family caused us to cease production.
Further family needs caused a hiatus in the production on the shows. Meanwhile, many of our long time satisfied customers and vendors continued to ask when we do another Rolls, Floats, and Flys show. We opened our new series of shows under a new brand, Scale Hobby Enthusiasts Marketplace. At our first show, many of our guests and vendors commented that it reminded them of the old Rolls, Floats, and Flys. Now, and due to popular demand, moving forward into 2019, we are proud to announce that we are renaming Scale Hobby Enthusiasts Marketplace: “Rolls, Floats, and Flys” to continue on the tradition of our previous shows.

Families are always welcome! Children under 12 are always free with adult admission. Exposing young people to a creative hobby that will teach them many skills and life lessons is an important goal for us.
